Wallgate Limited has achieved approval under the new European Standard ISO 19712-3 designed for 3 dimensional solid surface objects.
Thought to be the first in Europe to achieve approval, Wallgate’s product testing was undertaken by Bodycote PDL and involved 10 strategic tests including impact, abrasion, staining, cigarette burns and wet heat cycling.
As part of the ISO, Wallgate’s materials were once again tested to BS476 Part 7 for Surface Spread of Flame (Result - Class O) and BS476 Part 6 for Flame and Fire Retardation (Result - Class 1).
Wallgate’s solid surface material is used for an extensive product range of specialist sanitary ware for both public and secure sectors.
