NEW ECO FRIENDLY SCHOOL CHOOSES WALLGATE
New state-of the-art school Sir William Stanier Community School in Crewe, built by Willmott Dixon Construction and designed by AEDAS, opened its doors this September. The school has been designed to have as small an environmental footprint and impact as possible.
After research, Wallgate Handwash Driers were chosen for their energy and water efficiency. Used within the communal wash areas for student toilets these have proved extremely popular and reliable. As Paul Docksey, Site Manager for the school commented “This is a brand new school designed specifically to be eco-friendly and sustainable. Any new school has teething problems but the Wallgates have worked superbly since Day 1”
The school was opened officially on September 23rd 2009 by the Duke of Westminster with Pete Waterman making a speech about Crewe’s Railway heritage.
